Lyrics

I'm running away
I don't care what they have to say
I'm packing my bags
I'm putting all that I have on this train
Because I feel insane
I swear the streets here they move when I sleep
I'm out here to stay
Some place thats far far away.

Theres a picture of someone
It hangs on the wall
But he don't show through
'Cause he's no one at all.
Theres a person inside me
That makes me feel sad
He wants to destroy everything that I have.

So I hold onto these chains
I don't have a say in this silly story
I sit down & complain
My own soul is my own worst enemy
& he knows my fate
I search for the answer but I'm not lucky
& I know some day
The hands on this clock well they will stop ticking
But I guess thats ok.

I'm Leaving today
This story begins at the end
& I got nothing to say
I'm lost in this jungle I feel so afraid
I'm still hanging onto these chains
There's an owl flying level outside my train window
& he knows my name
I'm hearing him call but its too late he's gone.

Theres a man in the mirror
He's looking at me
He hates when I'm happy he don't want me to see
There's a good heart inside me it's covered in chains
I try to unlock them but he's thrown the key away
& I'm on this journey to set myself free
I'm never coming home unless I can find me.

So I hold onto these chains
I don't have a say in this silly story
I sit down & complain
My own soul is my own worst enemy
& he knows my fate
I search for the answers but I'm not lucky
& I know some day
The hands on this clock well they will stop ticking
But I guess thats ok.
